Our Track Record with RPE

Did you know that BTL Liners has a longer track record with heavy weight reinforced polyethylene than any other liner company in the world? We began operations in 1981 as a company that produced farm tarps, covers for dump trucks and similar applications. As we grew and expanded our markets, we recognized a need for a liner material to replace the typical HPDE, PVC and EPDM liner products that were available at the time. In the early 1990’s, we partnered with Shintoa International to develop a stronger, thicker double-scrim heavy weight reinforced polyethylene. This was the first material of its kind that had ever been seen in the marketplace and it offered a competitive high-strength product that could be prefabricated and installed quickly and cost-effectively. Not surprisingly, BTL has the longest track record using heavy weight reinforced polyethylene (RPE) of any other liner company in the world! In fact, we are the recognized leader in RPE products and have fabricated and installed more square footage than any other liner company using heavy weight RPE. Our sales volume approaches 50 million square feet annually and continues to grow. We have the ability to make the largest panels in the industry, some in excess of 150,000 square feet, all the while maintaining the highest standards in speed of delivery, customer service and uncompromising quality.
