What kind of manpower is required for installation?The simple answer is "the more the better". Actually there are several things to consider. The most obvious factor is the size of the panels. Bend Tarp and Liner, Inc. regularly manually installs ten to fifteen thousand square foot PPL-24 panels with 6 or fewer workers. When the panel sizes start getting into the 20,000 SF and larger sizes, it is typical to use a beam and spreader bar to lift the roll with a backhoe to unroll it. Then it is nice to have 8 to 10 or more laborers to run the liner out. Once panels are in position, one or two technicians can do the field welding (per welding machine in use). LINKS
