Company Introduction

Bend Tarp and Liner, Inc. was founded in 1981 in the Central Oregon community of Bend Oregon. The company's primary focus on the fabrication and sales of tarps to the trucking industry and pond/lake lining products to agricultural water users, industrial, construction and government agencies in the Pacific Northwest. From day one our goal was to provide the highest level of standards in customer service in the tarp and liner industry. 

 In the early 90's, we recognized a need for a liner material to replace the typical PVC and EPDM products, both being non-reinforced products that require soil cover, Bend Tarp and Liner, in partnership with Maiweave of Springfield, Ohio, developed a stronger, thicker 5 ply RPE (reinforced polyethylene) material to offer a competitive high-strength product that could be prefabricated and installed quickly and cost effectively. From this partnership the PPL® was born.

With the success of the PPL® line, Bend Tarp and Liner began a series of expansions from a 4,000 square foot facility in the early 1990's to our 2007 move to our current home providing 84,000 square feet of fabrication and state of the art welding capacity. The results of our market growing from regional to nationwide/international and the change of our focus to excusively providing high quality liner material necessitated the need for a new name and BTL Sales and BTL Lining were created.

Over the past 28 years BTL has grown to be a leading supplier of containment products worldwide. We are the industry recognized leader in RPE products, with the sales volume of our PPL® line approaching 20,000,000 square feet annually. We have the ability to make the largest panels in the industry, some in excess of 150,000 square feet, all the while holding true to maintaining the reputation for the highest standards in speed of delivery, customer service and uncompromising quality.
