Natural swimming ponds are much easier to keep clean and sanitized than traditional chlorine pools. The regeneration zone is the section of the pool thats kept shallow and stocked with plants. Water is constantly circulating from the swimming zone, to the regeneration zone, and back again. While in the regeneration zone, nutrients and waste is absorbed by the plants to be used as food, leaving water cleaner in the process.
Any excess debris or wastse that finds its way into either the swimming or regeneration zone can be removed via a skimmer or vacuum. Skimmers will be ideal for getting rid of floating or shallow waste, while a vacuum may be required for deeper waters.
