Can EPDM melt?

EPDM rubber's melting point is around 572 degrees Fahrenheit, which is much higher than most typical operating temperatures found in a pond. However, prolonged exposure to heat can lead to the material losing some of its flexibility and becoming more brittle over time.

If you plan to use EPDM in a project where it may be exposed to high temperatures, make sure you follow proper installation and maintenance procedures to minimize the risk of damage.
