Can I reuse a silage cover?

Some silage covers are designed to be reused for years to come, which can be a major bonus when considering disposal fees and limited landfill space. Of course reusable silage covers are often pricier than their single-use counterparts, but if the cover can last 10 years or more, the cost advantage for reusable covers can be convincing.

Silage covers that can survive the test of time need to be durable, tear and puncture resistant, and highly resistant to UV damage. They also need to be constructed from materials that won't leach out harmful chemicals over time. Purpose made silage covers, like BTL's ArmorCover line, made from reinforced, UV-resistant polyethylenes are an excellent solution for long-term, dependable value.
