Secondary containment systems can be used for large-scale storage tanks. These systems are designed to provide an additional layer of protection around storage tanks, preventing leaks, spills, and environmental contamination.
For large-scale storage tanks, secondary containment systems typically consist of barriers such as HPDE/RPE liners surrounding the tank and extending to create a containment area. The liners are impermeable and durable, capable of withstanding the weight and volume of the stored liquids. Sometimes these systems also include berms, walls, or concrete containment areas to further contain spills.
