Installing an EPDM pond liner is a simple process and a small pond installation can be easily managed by one or two people. EPDM is not light, however, so a partner can ease the process considerably when it comes time to carry or unfold the packaged liner.
When installing EPDM, the basic steps are to prepare the excavation, spread your underlayment, then unfold the EPDM liner. Push the liner down to conform to the shape of your pond and anchor it carefully to prevent shifting when water is added.
