Can you start seeds in aeroponics?

Aeroponics systems provide an ideal environment for starting seeds and fostering healthy root growth. Instead of using a growth medium like soil, seeds are "planted" in a small piece of foam which can be inserted into a net pot, or they can be placed directly into foam collars. The seeds are placed into the tray, which provides misting and nutrients on the bottom and light on the top.

The consistent growing conditions, optimized water and nutrients, and plenty of available oxygen promote healthy and prolific root growth so that the tiny seedlings are able to maximize their nutrient conversion and produce rapid, healthy growth. Once the seedlings have reached their desired size, they can be eaily moved to a larger growing environment or they can be transplanted into another growing environment, including soil.
