How deep should a natural pond be for swimming?

While regeneration zones should be kept shallow, the swimming area of your pool can reach over 6 feet deep. Keep in mind however, that deeper waters are harder to keep clean, and will require more filtering power to properly circulate the water. Consider using a vaccuum to clean the deeper parts of your pool.

Deeper water will also be colder, as less sunlight is able to penetrate down into the depths.
