Certain reinforced geomembranes are used to house even the most abrasive chemicals, like petroleum, leachate, or industrial tailings. BTL's AquaArmor is an excellent example of this. Made from a woven, reinfored polyester or nylon core, this material is strong enough to contain jet fuel, waste water, and other forms of chemical containment.
In almost all chemical containment, it's absolutely essential to prevent seepage, damage, or leaks. Geomembranes are made from blended, layered polymers that prevent anything from passing through. This means the material is particularly resistant against tears, punctures, and other kinds of damage.
