It can take from a few weeks to several months for a natural swimming pond to settle, depending on your climate and water conditions. In especiall cool climates, it may take a few months to settle enough for water to be clear. This will happen faster in warmer conditions.
Keep an eye on your plants within your regeneration zone. Once they've been established long enough to begin new green growth -- your pool is likely ready to be used.
