A DOT type 1 curtain is suitable for protected water with minimal movement, not subject to tidal action or disturbance from winds. Ponds, shallow lakes, small streams and marshes are good examples. These curtains combine high strength fabric and heavy-duty tension members that can withstand extra wear and tear.
