America isn't quite yet running out of food, but we are headed in that direction. The inflation we are currently experiencing in 2022 is making food prices skyrocket to unreal limits. Because of everything getting to be so expensive, it is becoming harder to make food products in general.
The panemic caused a big rift in the supply chain. The demand for food products skyrocketed when people rushed to the stores to stockpile items. As soon as isolation began, people started to cook more and more at home. While this was mostly something that happened in 2020, the pandemic is not over, and the remnants of how a crisis can affect America became very real.
