Should you test a natural pool?

A natural pool requires none of the diligent testing and chemical adjustments that chlorine pools demand. Americans spend between $500 and several thousand a year on repairs, upkeep, and required equipment for a traditional pool. A natural pool maintains its own cleanliness and chemical makeup without manual adjustment.

If your pool appears especially cloudy, or it gives off an unpleasant smell, testing may be in order. Testing may also give you some insight into what may be going wrong if the regeneration zone isn't thriving.
