Some rigid pond liners, such as fiberglass, are quite durable and resistant to punctures, making them a good choice for smaller, standard-sized ponds, but they can be especially challenging to position on uneven ground.
Flexible liners, made from materials like EPDM rubber, PVC, or RPE, are adaptable to any pond shape or size, making them ideal for custom designs and natural shapes. Although flexible liners can require more effort to install, as they need to be spread and shaped to fit the pond’s contours, they permit creative pond designs, depth changes, and can conform to complex layouts. Flexible liners are generally more affordable than rigid ones, especially for for larger ponds.
