In a temperature controlled greenhouse, almost any produce can be nurtured and harvested yearround. A semi-heated greenhouse can protect cold weather produce from freezing temperatures or adverse weather. A fully heated greenhouse can grow anything, anytime, as long as it is able to mimic each crop's ideal conditions within the building.
Some ideal cold weather produce includes leeks, brussel sprouts, kale, radishes, and more. These are hardy vegetables who are happy in some of the coldest temperatures of wintertime. However, even these greens can be protected by a greenhouse. Frost will damage any plant, as well as snow.
