What indoor plant lights are used in aeroponics?

Aeroponically grown plants require a specific range of the light spectrum, incuding red, blue, and orange. The intensity and temperature of each part of the spectrum is important, and the requirements will change with different stages of plant growth. Some plants also need prescribed dark periods, to initiate flowering. For some, that's short days and long nights, while for others it's long days and short nights.

Aeroponics kits may include an array of specialized LED lights to provide equal exposure to each plant across the growing platform. It's important to keep in mind that, while LED grow lights are typically the most expensive choice to set up, they are the most efficient in energy consumption while providing the highest performance. Over time, LEDs are clearly the less expensive option.
