What is the difference between rubber and EPDM

EPDM is a highly durable, synthetic rubber, particularly ideal for weathering resistance. EPDM is not as heavy as other rubbers, like HDPE, and is therefore easier to ship. You often see EPDM used in vehicles or construction since it's so durable.
