Make sure that your pool isn't placed downhill of your property, and that it isn't at risk of damage due to large rocks, trees, or root structures. You'll want to ensure that nearby run-off and stormwater isn't making its way into your pool. This can be full of harmful chemicals that are dangerous to you and your plantlife. Additionally, structures beneath the pool can cause tears or cracks in the lining, virtually destroying the pool.
