A video that recently went viral on the internet shows an air-freight handler at Guangzhou Airport in China carelessly tossing boxes about as he loads them onto a conveyer belt to be loaded onto an airplane. During the four minute video, barely half the boxes manage to stay on the belt, while the rest tumbled to the ground. Far from being a case of a harried soul rushing to keep up, this particular worker spent time repeatedly checking his cell phone and in the end, probably spent twice as much time on the loading as he would have otherwise. This is clearly a case of an unenthusiastic (and poorly supervised) employee who cares little about the quality of his work. As we shared this video around the BTL office, it reminded us of our ongoing commitment to source our liners only from North American made goods. We are often approached by Chinese manufacturers offering to beat any prices, but we are acutely aware that China has developed a poor reputation over the years with regard to quality and reliability of its factory made goods. Remember the issues with melamine in milk products and the multiple pet food recalls? We’ve maintained a stable relationship with our US and Canadian suppliers for decades, even working together to develop new and innovative products in response to our customers’ demands. Our strong working relationships mean that we retain reliable pricing, availability and the highest possible quality standards, which we can then pass on to our customers. We are proud to assure people that our products are 100% North American made and fabricated right here in Prineville, Oregon! Let’s discuss how we can meet your specific needs with our superior quality liners. Visit us online at www.btlliners.com or call us at 800-280-0712. We look forward to working with you!
